  1. I used these instructions, and they are great. Haven’t finished yet due to missing circ clips to hold the flat metal piece to to bottom of the spoiler. I also wound up losing two of the top screws?! I have no idea where the darned things went.it’s driving me nuts. Hope they didn’t go anywhere they could cause problems. I guess i’ll find out one way or the other.😳
  2. Hi Everybody, When I first start my car, the engine has a knock that lasts for about 10 seconds or sometimes longer. It’s intermittent and then goes away. Additionally, if I rev the engine immediately on startup, the knock never appears. I’m obviously not a mechanic but try to do things myself when I can (mostly maintenance, oil changes, spark plugs, coils, etc.). I heard a similar knock on a 2005 Carrera that was for sale on eBay in a video the owner posted, but that knock never stopped. Interestingly, the knock won’t return the next day if I start the car in the morning. Mine is a 1999 Porsche 996 with six speed, 3.4 liter engine, no leaks, burns no oil. Yhank you for your thoughts on this and how it might be resolved. Monte Olsen
  3. I have 123000, and this baby still drives great, looks great and runs fine. It’s a 1999 996. Love the curvy interior, too.
  4. I would get the Durametric, too. It is a bargain in my opinion. When I take my car in for work, the guys here love the fact that I already have the error codes for them. Seriously. And this is a very dedicated and excellent sales and repair place here in town.
  5. Hi, How about the 1999 models? Will this also work on those? Thanks, Monte
