  1. 2002 C2 manual: Problem: when parked outside in freezing temperatures, oil leaks from the lower oil pump connector, item 7 in diagram below. When parked in a warm environment, it remains dry. Anyone had that problem? Should I replace the gasket #8? M96.01/02/03 Oil Pump M96.04 WWW.AUTOATLANTA.COM
  2. Hey everyone! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but here’s my problem! So I have two problems both I would love to fix 1. When driving at low speeds (specifically 13 MPH) my engine; or what sounds like my engine, makes an awful grinding/ whining noise. The noise goes away after I switch from first to second. 2. When driving sometimes it makes a similar noise but is seems to happen when the car is cold and specifically during acceleration. Thanks for the help! -Denali
  3. I just bought a 2002 Boxster with the Carbon Interior convertible. The radio went dead and I need to retrieve the code. Can you folks help me? Here are the specs. Becker 1 Type 4462 Serial # 25013601 24/99 Car Vin # WP0CA29842U6253320
  4. Can you direct me to where the Option Codes for a 2002 996 Cab? Thank-you
  5. Hi all My 2002 996 coupe has a squeaking passenger seat when I push/pull the top or back part of the seat, including driving over bumps. I have half powered seats,,, the top/back is powered while the lower seat assembly is manual. The squeak happens when the top/back is in any position including up so you can access the back seats. Something must be loose, but my question is if there are any DIY instructions that I could focus on instead of trying to tighten every bolt and hex screw that I can access. It's pretty compact down there... Appreciated... Thank you in advance
  6. Hi, I've searched the forum and couldn't find an answer and am posting here for your help. Let me know if this isn't the right place for this question. I'm searching for my first 911 and am confused about the headlights. On one 911 targa (2002) the options sticker does not list Litronic headlights but the owner and ppi shop said it does. Another 2002 targa lists the option on the sticker. Do some 2002s have Litronic/bi-xenon headlights as standard equipment? Regards, Mike
  7. Hello to all, I am looking for a part for my right headlight. It's the plastic chrome looking oval plug that sits in the middle of a 2002 911 headlight assembly. It snaps in and out easily, but, the plastic prongs on the back of mine broke. I've attached a few pix to show what I'm talking about. It is stamped as part number 153 034-00, however, that doesn't seem to come up with anything when I search. I've made some calls and people seem to only want to sell this piece with the entire headlight assembly--which is obviously a pricey fix. Does anyone know the name of this piece? Does anyone know where to find a replacement? Thanks in advance! DK
