  1. Just picked up an 01 996 Carrara and PO had installed a battery tender on the passenger side beside the battery tray but it was no longer functional, so I removed it. In the same area to the passenger side of the battery compartment there is a flexible clear tube unattached at its distal end originating close to the fuel filler neck. Any idea what the tube is and is it correct for it to be disconnected
  2. The key is stuck in the ignition of my 97 986. Gently added a lubricant and managed to get it to the "off" position however it will not come out. Disconnected the battery (leaving trunk open). Any advice regarding repairing this myself? Read that audi parts could be used. All advice welcome

  9. Hi everybody, So Porsche has a library of catalogs which contains several documents with all the part numbers for many cars up until (approximately) 2010. This library can be found on the service area of all Porsche regional sites, for example (US): http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/porscheservice/originalparts/originalpartscatalogue/ This is a very nice resource for locating parts that need to be replaced in our vehicles. However we are left out of luck for the newer generations. Does anyone have or can point to the newer catalogs? Thanks!!
