After recently buying a 955 with the V8 which is whisper quiet with a full history, I decided it was a good idea to change the oil, filter and the plugs as it had only moved 400 miles in six months. The oil was a suggested Mobil 1 0w40 and the plugs are as identified by the reg plate. However, the Bosch super 4's that came out were R6 (resistance) and the BERU 4's were R5. ive not noticed a loss of power - but HAVE noticed a drop in my mpg figures. from 17-19 down to possibly 13-14. anybody else experienced this, the oil level is correct with a quality synthetic filter by K&N and the spark plugs were torqued to just on 22 ft/lbs. appreciate any feedback on your experiences. -
Hello to all, I am looking for a part for my right headlight. It's the plastic chrome looking oval plug that sits in the middle of a 2002 911 headlight assembly. It snaps in and out easily, but, the plastic prongs on the back of mine broke. I've attached a few pix to show what I'm talking about. It is stamped as part number 153 034-00, however, that doesn't seem to come up with anything when I search. I've made some calls and people seem to only want to sell this piece with the entire headlight assembly--which is obviously a pricey fix. Does anyone know the name of this piece? Does anyone know where to find a replacement? Thanks in advance! DK

So, I replaced my GT3 front end after my GF had a bit of an off at a winter driving camp. Got everything back together except for the plug that goes in the center hole on the fender. The GT3 has an opening here for the center radiator. I haven't got a radiator there so I don't need the hole. The old part has this number: The dealer can't find this part and they even emailed Porsche in Germany that said this part-number isn't in their system... Any ideas?
