disclaimer: I mean nothing antagonistic with this post, so please don't take it that way. I just want to learn.

What is the deal with the tight security of the TSBs? I am purely curious as they seem like repair bulletins for technicians? why arent' they provided freely throughout the net if indeed these are problems or recalls that are officially documented? Is it a liability issue in case the particular article is incorrect?

Thanks for any clarification.

For legal reasons you are not allowed to copy or print the TSBs. They are for online viewing only.

Thanks for the response. I did a little more research, and found a post about someone winning a settlement against a manufacturer because of incorrect TSB information. I guess that is why Porsche or whomever set the restrictions is trying to mitigate. :-\
