Aftermarket Exhaust

I read in a magazine about a company called Manthey Racing that's doing a lot of tuning for the GT3. Their view is that the GT3 can be tweaked to deliver RS performances.

I think they had developed or were developing various things, mostly to do with weight reduction - carbon fibre door trim, lightweight wheels, non-glass window panels etc etc - as well as handling - new LSD, suspension parts etc etc.

One thing that interested me a lot was their exhaust system. Apparently, their titanium muffler will reduce around 20 kg from stock. Has anyone come across this muffler or anything else from Manthey? Their website is all in German....

Hi Kimbo77..... Manthey Racing has been very active in racing Porsches, and especially, GT3 models in Europe for quite some time. They sometimes get unofficial factory support in doing so. They are credible producers of aftermarket racing parts for GT3s. That said, I have no personal experience with their products, although, I've lusted after quite a few.
