I have a 2008 911 turbo with color matching turbo wheels (yellow). I have a vibration at 70mph and above. Dealer diagnosed a rim that is not true. Can someone point me in the direction to purchase a new rim with the factory yellow paint? Dealer wants $2,800 for the driver rear wheel.

Why would that not be covered under warranty? (unless of course you hit something)

I agree, if there's no sign of damage then you should pursue a warranty claim.

If you must pay for a wheel, use the "Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost" link above to buy from Sunset Imports. Of course, shipping might negate some of your savings. The other option is to find a used OEM takeoff wheel (many are removed by the owners on delivery for a set of aftermarket) and have a reputable wheel or body shop paint it the factory yellow. I purchased the car used with 4000 miles on it 3 weeks ago in different state (I'm in Louisiana and bought it in Houston).It is certified pre-owned. Didn't notice the problem till almost home (wasn't going fast enough to feel the vibration)so brought it to local dealer. They never said anything about warranty I guess because it is used????
