Saving Pm's To Free Up Space

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to save all of the PM's in "My Messenger" to another file on one's computer so as to free up more space for future PM's?

If it could be done as all in one shot, that would be ideal. If not, one conversation at a time would have to do.

Regards, Maurice.

For now you can only do it by Conversation.

Just choose the conversation and then click on the Print/Download button.

Your choices will be Print, Download (HTML), or Download (Word).

(Yes, I just added this...)

Personally I liked the old method where I could "archive" them by mailing them to myself.

Perhaps they will add that back in?

Loren:

Thanks. I will download them gradually to free up some of the space.

I spoke with the Chief Software Architect at the forum software company and they will be adding the old style archive feature back in.

It won't be in the next release (which is do very soon) but likely in the following release (maybe early summer).

So, hopefully the increased message storage will hold us until then.
