Homelink button part number

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Im new to renntech and to Porsches (I just purchased my 08 Carrera 4S Coupe).

The car was sold at an auction to the dealer I got it from, so there were some 'parts' missing that were stolen at the auction. This is what the dealer told me (and quite common from what I read on other forums). Besides these missing minor parts everything else seemed top notch, so thats why I got it.

The part that is missing is one of the homelink buttons. It is the homelink button located on the right side (passenger side) of the overhead console. It is supposed to have one dot and an LED indicator light.

Would anyone be so kind as to look this part number up for me?

Also, It looks like it was just removed/unplugged from the harness. Im assuming I can just get the part and plug the connectors together and get it to work?

Thanks in advance,

goncookoo

Any troubleshooting tips for my problem? The LEDs will not illuminate (steady or flash) with any combination of button pushing. IGN is ON and the buttons have been held as recommended in the OM. How do you access the transmitter? OR, would that be an unlikely problem? (2005 911 S). Thanks.
