Porsche error codes manual

Recommended Posts

There are many types of fault codes for airbags, emissions, HVAC, ABS, PSM, MOST, etc., etc. You did not say what fault code you are looking for?

Fault codes are specific to model and year of car.

They can be found in the Porsche service manuals and OBD II codes can be found in the Porsche DME manual for specific model and year cars.

P8216 and P2004. DME codes. P2004 I found, but P8216 I can't find anywhere.

If they are in the service manual, is there a way of getting one somewhere? I have a MY2010 GT3.

What I actually am looking for is some extra explanation for the codes instead of just the standard 1 phrase explanation. I would be nice to have some kind of manual I can take along so if I get an error code on the car when far from home at least I know what it is about.
