Fixing dashboard rattle - near side air vent

Had a rattle coming from the passenger side vera the air vent 'behind' the dash somewhere - which sounded like plastic to plastic - driving me mad. Cured it as follows: 1. Remove the dash end plate. Use a credit card to carefully prise the 'rear' end out from the dash, revealing two plastic spigots that locate it Pull the door seal away from the flange adjacent to the end plate (just makes the job easier) Pull the end plate towards you (i.e. to the rear of the car) and you will disloca

I think that I am having the same issue. Can you please clarify what you mean by "'rear' end out from the dash." Do you mean on the top part near the windshield?
