Looking for factory service manual

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum but am active on P-9, 6speed and Rennlist. I am looking for a copy of the factory service manual for the 991 turbo for two reasons. First, I would just love to have it and second, I am interested in removing the 18 way adaptive seat backshells to have them painted. So far, searches on those topics using google and individual forum search functions have turned up no service manuals and only some very old information for removing the back shells on 996 cars. Any help in either of these areas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

- Patrick

First, welcome to RennTech :welcome:

Not surprised you can't find it, Porsche no longer prints any service manuals (and has not for several years), but it is all available online via subscription at PIWIS TSI: https://techinfo2.porsche.com/PAGInfosystem/VFModuleManager?Type=GVOStart

  • 2 weeks later...

I paid for some time on that site and found that all of the technical documents for the 14 turbo (the only car I was researching) referenced drawings/diagrams which were not shown in the documents. I tested with IE, FF, and Chrome and it was the same on all browsers. Am I missing something? How does one get access to the diagrams?

You would need to address technical issues with them directly.  We use IE11 and have no issues.
