factory CD-2...how to get the code

I have a '93 3.6 Turbo that came with the optional CD-2 in-dash CD player.

I want to return the car to 100% stock, as the former owner installed another radio unit.

The guys at my local Porsche dealership told me that there is no way to get the code for the radio. But I can´t believe this.

Thanks.

do a google search - there are quite a few companies offering this service.  You need radio serial number and vehicle VIN code (any porsche vin code).  Charges are anywhere from 15 to 45 depending on where you go.

Send me the serial number of the radio via PM and I'll try a program I have for Alpine/Porsche radios.

No guarantees but worth a try for free.
