02 Boxster driver side window

my d/s window no longer lowers a bit when I open my door...I have to push it down...when I close the door, it raises back...what's up?

I believe it to be a micro switch and not the regulator...there is a reset procedure...if I did it correctly, it did not solve the problem...at least the windows drop when the top lowers.

To re-learn: press hold window down switch - continue holding for 10 seconds once it reaches all the way down. Do the same for window up - press and hold for 10 seconds.

Re-try the window drop - if it still fails then see these other posts... you really need to try a simple search...
