05 CTT front passenger axle Part No.

Recommended Posts

I have 05 CTT.  The CV boot on it split near the axle itself, spraying great onto the wheel.

Looking for confirmation of proper part number to order.  One I dug up is:  G95534903810

Greatly appreciate if someone can confirm or provide proper part number for this.

As a side question, when the boot splits, there are often repair kits to replace the boot itself.

Wonder which way is a better option to resolve...replace cv boot and clamps only, or replace entire axle?

Car has about 134K on it, so it does have wear.  I do not think I am hearing loud noises.  When driving without radio on, my impression was it was somewhat noisier, but that could have been from tires being half worn as well, so no definite info on this here.

One thing makes me think to replace shaft whole is the mileage is already high, so replacement wont hurt for sure.  Always welcome opinions.  Thank you.
