Hi all,

Anyone know or have access to the installation docs for the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment system, circa 2011? I know there's an updated version that is available as a retrofit, but I can't find documentation or TSBs for either setup. I'd like to remove the PRSE and use the power for an iPad holder. Thanks!

Hi,

I know it's an extremely late response, but at least SOMEBODY will have replied... :glare:

Hey, thanks. This doesn't help because I just need to be able to physically remove the device without damage. An installation manual or upgrade manual for from the PRSE to the 2nd generation PRSE would be super helpful.

Interestingly enough, there isn't much information out there! :cursing:

I did come across a Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment (PRSE III) Display Unit Replacement for a 2011 Panamera though...:clapping:

I will PM it to you...

Success! There's a handy 12v barrel jack for power. Converted this to USB using a converter and CCTV barrel connectors and now theres an iPad there.
