The Fabspeed exhaust is great, but the tips are OEM, and the fitment SUCKS. Anxiously waiting for Fabspeed's C4S quad-tips. Alex Kononchuk from Fabspeed said the development on these should be completed in the next month or so.

Drive-line feels pretty sloppy in comparison to my Miata. Yes, I know they're completely different cars. The Miata is a track car, and the C4S is a daily driver, but I'd like something a little more controlled from the Porsche. I've heard good things from Function-First's transmission mount inserts, and I their engine mount upgrade looks like a perfect compromise of stiffness, comfort, and price.

I like the lowered look from the RÜF suspension, but the wheel fitment isn't great. I want something that's simple, more flush with the fenders, and shows off the brakes, but doesn't compromise performance. Considering adding spacers until I can afford some nice forged wheels. I like the 5-spoke design of Avant Garde's F330 wheels, but don't think the straight lines would go with the 996's curvier lines. Looking for something like a mixture of the OEM turbo wheels and F330's with less weight and better fitment - maybe ADV.1's ADV05.1 M.V1 SL.

As for color, I was originally considering something that matches the color of brake dust for obvious reasons, but now I think magnesium would be a good match with the paint.

    Greetings Loren.

I have a question that i hope maybe you can help me with.

The issue is that on my car, 996 c2 01. i had to remove broke bolts from my exhaust manifoil when i changed the meaders.

The result of that was that i hd to try to drill out the rest of the bolts. the drilling went pretty ok but some of them i had to drill out became with m10 threads and not m8 as they are orginal.

One of the m10 threadet blots i was unlucky to drill to far into the manifoil and went trought :-(

so i have a problem to keep the oil from leaking out, becourse the bolt torqued on wont keep it tight.

So i have been thinking about a solution regarding this issue, ofcourse i can take the car to a Porsche workshop and change the whole exhaust manifoil-blok but that cost's a fortune here in Norway.

Do you have any other idea's how to repair this issue ?

Is there a cance to fill the tapped m10 hole with high-temp epoxy putty (1000 degree C) after cleaning the hole with electro cleaner to clean the surface inside.

Then drill and tapp it to m8 and 25 mm deep.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks :-)

    Best regards

    Michael Berger.
