  1. yellow headlamps

This is actually yellow laminate film that adheres to the headlamps... I think it gives it a 'racy' look <!--emo&:)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> At nig · 08/21/2005

  2. fender stickers

these are black vinyl(?) Porsche Crest stickers that I placed on the fenders just behind the front wheels... the car is relatively dark, so the black crests are not very noticable. · 08/21/2005

These are black vinyl(?) stickers that I put on the fender just behind the front wheels... the car is pretty dark, so they are non-obvious; · 08/21/2005

  4. GT3 Console Delete

The inside of the car looks ~much~ cleaner and 'racier'. I really like the look... for a long time, I held off doing this because I didn't want to give up the cubby. Now that it is gone, I don't miss it a bit, and I appreciate both the o · 07/14/2005

  5. added 1/4" spacers on the front wheels

this required that I use slightly longer wheel bolts and that I re-use the beveled washers/spacers from the factory bolts. By notching the retaining ridge on the stock bolts, the washers/spacers slid right off (and onto the new, longer bolts). · 07/14/2005

  6. replaced painted center caps with black and silver ones

I like the way the black and silver center caps complement the overall look of the car <!--emo&:)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> · 07/14/2005

  7. updated cigarette lighter to new (post '02) style and replaced lighter with LED flashlight (VW part)

this has the main advantage of now properly fitting any accesories I choose to use (cell phone charger, radar detector, etc), and allows me to use the small LED rechargable flashlight that is sold with the Phaeton (which I think is a really cool little do · 04/21/2005

  8. rolled rear fenders

rolled up the inside fender lip on the rear of the car to accommodate the wide tires (285's on 996 rims), spacers, and lowered suspension. A fender-rolling tool (from Eastwood-modified to work w/the Porsche bolt pattern) and a heat-gun worked pretty · 02/02/2005

  9. H&R springs

added H&R progressive wound springs to go w/the new Bilsteins and lower the car... the install of the suspension bits was harder than I anticipated, but still a weekend project <!--emo&:)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' s · 02/02/2005

  10. Bilstien sport dampers

changed out the stock suspension bits; went w/the Bilstein sport dampers to go w/the lowering springs (~1" down) · 02/02/2005
