• Description This is my 2000 Boxster. I bought it used in April 2006 when it had just under 30,000 miles on it. I added the hard top in July 2006 at a cost of $610. I sold my 1994 Miata to finance part of the cost of the Boxster. The car just needed a good cleaning and some paintless dent repair to make it look almost as good as new.

I've upgraded the sound system by adding PNP rear speakers, Infinity Kappas in the dash, and a six-channel amp from a 996 Cabriolet. I recently swapped the CDR-220 for a Becker Traffic Pro radio with an after market iPod connector.

Cosmetic upgrades include a colored Porsche crest on the steering wheel and aluminum trim rings on the gauges.

Over the first 21 months and 14k miles of ownership, I have replaced the two rear tires, the Mass Air Flow sensor, one O2 sensor, the oil filler tube, and a fuel system vent hose. I've also changed the oil twice and replaced the engine air and cabin filters.
