Rod end nylon caps

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

In a number of posts it seems that the terrible graunching and grinding of metal associated with the disassociation of the nylon (plastic) ball caps of the Boxster's hood (ok, roof) mechanism necessitates the purchase, at great cost, of a whole arm!

This, when actually only the nylon cap is necessary.

I have heard that a chap in the Netherlandspost-51651-011264600 1284329595_thumb.jp can supply said caps, can anyone divulge his address?

Kind regards to all of the faith.

Jonathan:

You are logically right...but that kind of thinking does not fit into Porsche's profit center strategy.

I have sent you a PM with the more sane route to take.

Regards, Maurice.
