AWESOME Loren....thank you very very very much!!

Hi Guys, I'm also trying to wire a new amp (audison) in place of the original HAES 4x40W (986.645.323.00). The diagrams posted seem to describe the 20-pin connector in detail but not the smaller 18-pin that is also on the amp. Any chance someone can post this detail? It would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

I have a 2001 Boxster S.

Many thanks,

-randy

rboutin:

Notice that the diagram shows Plug I with 18 pins and Plug II with 20 pins. The black plug/connector (smaller) has 18 pins and the blue/natural/brown/green, depending if cabrio or coupe, etc. has 20 pins (bigger). The pinout and wire color codes are on the same big rectangular thas says "Amplifier 996". The top is for Plug I (small black) and the bottom is for Plug II the big one. Hope this helps.
