Covers all Carrera (996), GT3, TT / GT2 and Boxster (986) cars
Here is the long explanation from the service manual on the flashing coolant light.
"Four functions of the coolant warning light:
1. Engine coolant level too low -- light flashes slowly (0.5 Hz)
2. Engine compartment temperature too high -- light flashes slowly (0.5 Hz) (engine compartment blower might be faulty)
3. Engine coolant temperature too high -- light is lit; pointer on the right
4. Temperature sensor at water outlet faulty -- light flashes rapidly (1 Hz) ; pointer on the right
Note: The temperature warning in point three is indicated if the conditions "engine coolant temperature too high" and "engine coolant level too low" are present simultaneously."

I'd love a copy, @Loren. Thank you.
I've read elsewhere you will in fact need a rivet gun to install the blind rivet nuts. And that there are several templates you need to install the front and rear holders to align them to the body. Is that the case? The factory repair manual simply states, "ensure that they are fitted correctly and not damaged; if necessary, replace."
Just purchased the the brackets, screws and running boards from the junkyard. Forgot to see how the rivet nuts were fitted. I believe this is the correct part number I need: Blind rivet nuts 904-085-04

I had an aftermarket radio installed when I bought my 2001 986 but prefer to have the original CDR-220 factory-installed radio so I found a used one. The model is CDR-220 and the serial number is 25015991. Let me know if you can get me the code. I'd like to install it into my Boxster. Much thanks!

Don't forget to hook up the wire (to the radio chassis) for the alarm system.

There is a special bleeding procedure in PIWIS (not sure about Durametric) that bleeds the ABS pump by running the pump and opening and closing the valves.
-
Yes. If you are getting a dash light then the car needs to be checked for suspension faults using a Porsche specific diagnostic tool like PIWIS or Durametric.

I tried to enter Jack mode as per manual, hold the switch forward 10 seconds in Normal position but It couldn't enter to jack Mode. No sigh came up to Main display. What shall I do ? My car is 2008 Porsche 957....15years old.
Does the air suspension operate normally now - to raise and lower on demand?
If not then use a Porsche specific diagnostic tool (i.e. PIWIS or Durametric) to check for fault codes.

The standard radio does not have an external amp = the BOSE does.

Sounds like you have one or more locking zones (doors, gas door, rear hatch, etc.) that are not latching.
You will likely need a PIWIS tester or Durametric to find the fault code(s) to easily determine the problem.
