My Check engine light came on recently in my 2006 Cayenne (Base). I hooked up the Durametric and engine fault code P1120 showed up. It says:
- No signal/communication, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light
I cleared it and it came back 2 days later, same error. I've done a fair amount of searching but have not seen many solid common resolutions. Does anyone know a way for me to check some wires for corrosion/fraying (i.e. where would I look?), or should I proceed with the throttle body cleaning (the latter showd up a few times as a possible cause)? I recently had a fair amount of electrical re-wiring completed due to corroded wires and a faulty relay under the driver seat.
The car seems to run fine, but I'm worried ignoring this will be expensive later! Any help is appreciated. BTW - I love this site and this is my first post.
