  1. I think those wheels are available from Performance Products
  2. I am not clear on what you are asking. If you do not have the car yet, it would depend on what stage of build it is in, and the dealer would know that.
  3. Thanks, for the reply's. I think I will forget about replacing it, I don't have the patience for the socket problem.
  4. I have an 04 996, and want to remove the u shaped piece, that has the rocker switches in it, and surrounds the nav system. Does that just snap in? How is the wiper switch, and cigar lighter held in? Thanks
  5. Hey Poursha, Is this difficult to do ?Did you have to modify the clip in any fashion ?Does the clip just slip in, or do you have to force it? Thanks, Jay
  6. Is there any trick to install the silver horseshoe around the shifter? I used doudle stick tape, and the end farthest from the dash keeps lifting up. Any suggestions?
  7. I think what everyone is trying to say is that it does not matter, that the top is x years old, they damaged a oem top, they owe you an oem top. Was there any other damage to the top, prior to what they did ? were you going to replace it anyway, due to damage or wear ? If not, then I would demand they replace with an oem and the company that damaged it, would have to pay what their insurance will not. I mean really, what is the company out ? nothing, you pay the diff. total BS
  8. I really don't care for the 35 to 45 mph cut-out, and doing the hack could affect my nav. system, and I don't want that either, So if I could easily connect/disconnect That would be my best option.
  9. I am searching for the relay disconnect and can't seem to find it. I would like to be able to re-connect from time to time, is it that difficult to do ? I don't want to go to the dealer any time I want to make the change.
  10. I have the Factory installed Sport Exhaust. My question is, how do you make it stay on all the time. I do not want to do the hack, that deals with the on/off at certain speeds. I would prefer this, but I have read here, that it can affect the Nav. sys. so I would like to know how to enable it to be open always. Thanks
  11. Sorry, it's an 04 911 Carrera. Thanks for the response, I will try that.
  12. My spoiler won't come up with the switch, but does work properly otherwise. checked fuse. Just picked the car up Thursday, and don't want to take back to the dealer, if maybe any of you guy's have any ideas, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
  13. Loren, When my car arrives later this month, It will have the factory PSE. In order to have the default set to closed at start, and open by the switch, are you saying that all I have to do is turn the black and white check valve around?
  14. Actually, they are just across the river from St Louis, Mo.
  15. Much has been said about when to change and what kind of oil to use. I read somewhere that it might be a good Idea to drain your factory fill of synthetic and replace with non-syn. to assure proper break-in. Then after about 5k miles drain and refill with Mobil 1. Any comments/ thoughts ? Loren?
