  1. hi guys, first please bear with me as im a bmw tech so im in a whole new universe. my friend has a 06 cayenne, v6, non turbo. problem is that the engine at times will just fall on its face. you try and give it gas and it just sputters, pops, and just about stalls pretty much goes into limp mode and wont accelerate, sometimes it will stall. the problem is intermittent, sometimes it will run fine, others it acts up. had a bunch of codes originally. some for the maf and some fuel trim codes, p2179 p2177 p0301 p0300 p0305 p0303 p0304 changed the maf yesterday and still doing the same thing. only two codes came back, p2176, p2177. im having a hard time finding the exact translation but iirc the one is a throttle code related to idle and the other is a fuel trim code. was thinking vacuum leak but it would have to be a massive leak for it to run the way it does. i checked the vacuum lines on the right side of the engine etc and the whole intake for leaks and found none. maybe fuel pressure issue? i read something about removing the fuse for one of the fuel pumps to diag the issue. idk if it applies to this model. anyway any help would be appreciated, thanks.
