  1. Hi, My first post so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I have been looking for a solution to what seemed to be a common problem with the door open/close switch on my 2007 Cayman. My drivers side window won't close fully and the interior light stays on regardless. After some forum searching it looked like the door catch open/close microswitch was the issue but after stripping it out today, it seems to be functioning fine (I put my meter over the pins in the main plug socket and there are two pins that read open/close circuit when I operate the mechanism). I also checked the exterior handle switch and that seems fine also. The window opens and closes (but won't close fully) as normal so it's not the regulator. I tried the window reset (holding down for 10 secs etc) but as it doesn't close fully, that didn't work. Are there any other common faults or diagnostics you can suggest? Could it be a wiring issue and if so where can I check for that? Many thanks.
