  1. Yes! Have the only 2000 Sundowner with an outboard. It was originally the factory safety boat for 14 years. Bought it directly from 4W in Cadillac Mi.
  2. Ok, so it's the hydraulic line. Everything else works. My mechanic wants me to install all new lines. Can't he just splice the line at the leak?
  3. I had a new motor installed last year to a hefty tune and now my mechanic told me my hydraulic line/reservoir is leaking and there is no hydraulic pressure. The motor had a warranty on it. My question is, is the hydraulic system part of the motor? Since I live in a different state, could I get the Porsche dealer here to cover the repair?
  4. Thanks! Still need to figure out how to remove it but it's a start.
  5. The previous owner of my car installed an awful iPod cable coming out right below the center vent. I need to remove the top dash that houses the instrument panel to get access to the cord. I was also going to replace the cd holder with a cup holder when I had it apart. Are there any special tools that I will need? I was also thinking about getting a Bentley shop Manuel and seeing if they had a guide in it. Would that be worth the investment?
  6. Thanks everyone. Ended up getting another set of stock 996 wheels and mounted some Pirelli winter tires on them. It nearly killed me finding winter tires for them. Everyone says mount a good set of winter tires to drive in the winter, well that's easier said than done. They should say mount a good set of winter tires if you can find them along with a smug grin.
  7. First post ever and new to the Porsche community. I've come across a great deal on a set of c4s winter wheels and tires. Will they fit on a stock c2? Here are the specs: Wheel Specs: (F) 18"x8", 54 offset ® 18"x10", 40 offset and 5x130 bolt pattern Tire Specs: Dunlop Winter Sport 3D (F) 225/40R18 92V ® 265/35R18 97V Thank you
