Yes, only the light comes off (Green items) everything else will slide out the front. I remember there are two tabs to pry back, but you have to pry and hold or they won't be loose. I think I used two screw drivers. Pryed one tab back, held it back with a screw driver and then pryed the second one back. I don't remember exactly where the tab placements are, but they are on the black piece I've arrowed. Just try prying the two sides of the black piece and see if the socket will slide out the front. Like I said previously, there might be a slight turn/twist involved.

My Light does not Work, Yesteday i had it out but i could not get the Green Peice off to change the Light Bulb. How do you remove the Green Thing?

  2. Sorry, should be fixed now.

The next release of the Registry software should make this task easier.

Thanks Loren... i knew i was not Crazy!!! The last Version was much much better and organized to use... In this version all thw Modifications are mixed up unlike that last one where it was in Sections...

i hope the new release is similar to the last one...

  3. The update CD disc set last updated in Nov 2008 is Porsche part number 000.044.901.21

You can but this for $299.00 at Sunset Porsche in Oregon (they ship)

Disclaimer - There "may be" a 2009 version coming out since this version was created for 2008 and there are only 2 months left this year.

    Best,

    Al

Im sorry but the information you have provided is incorrect... Part number 000.044.901.21 was Released in Aug 2008 and the Maps are from 08/2007... There are no Updated Map Packs since then, and the PCM 2.0 has been completely phased out. That means there will be no more Map Updates... no 2009 Version....

  4. It appears that there is a new map update for the US as well, for those of us with PCM2 and the 3.0 software? Could anyone confirm this?

Yes i got a set from Suncoast http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant..._Code=POTE996CM It was Released 26/06/08... 8 CD's, you just insert any CD and it Updates your Firmware... Covers Canada, USA, Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Brazil... The Maps are Up-To-Date to 08/2007
