  1. My first data readings. Comments appreciated. Not knowing too much about all the readings I just did the basics. #of ignitions 1592/3561.7H (#2 was zero) 3675 Total hours 109477 miles Average was 29.78 Instrument cluster total distance 14712? Old codes before I reset them: 491, 492 and 420
  2. Going to buy the Durometric Enthusiast version. Since the engine in my 03S was replaced at some point (No records) want to see engine operating hours. Anyone in the Denver Area feel free to stop by. I will have two VIN's available after I use it on mine.
  3. Bought a Bulaga Racing exhaust on Ebay for 300. Sounds awesome. No regrets.
  4. Not an expert on this, but after the old battery died, I replaced with an Interstate AGM battery. No issues since.
  5. I replaced mine with the factory one last year along with all hoses. No problems.
  6. May want to check the clockspring...that was the issue with my Tip not working as intended...now works great.
  7. I am already saving the $$ for an LN engineering IMS and the install. I have a great indie Porsche shop near me that has no problem with me supplying the parts.
  8. Loren/JFP This is what I was hoping they would do at least but if not installed by a dealer I may never know :-( I just want to head off an IMS/RMS issue before it develops. This should be the last Major thing my baby needs.
  9. Thanks Richard. Is there some way to trace when this engine was installed? I do not have the service records on that.
  10. Here is my engine serial number. Was told by local Porsche dealer that it is not the original engine and asked them for some clarification but they never got back to me. Input appreciated.
  11. Just took her on a 250 mile trip through Colorado Canyon country to break them in. Result: AWESOME! Plus this trip validated my summer long savings account drainage getting her back in top shape. She did not disappoint! Tire noise was minimal, handled the back road two lane highways with perfection. The ride comfort was a definite improvement (I also have a new set of Bilstein B6 struts all around). When winter sets in will post reports on various levels of snow depth handling.
  12. Here are some pics of my 03 S After a summer of spending $$ to get her in tip top shape! Paint job to come soon.
  13. My 03 S has 108K miles. Looking forward to 308K Pic is day I bought it. Since then, Boxster S emblem back on the rear, new headlight assembly's, tranny service (Triptronic), oil change, new oil/radiator/gas caps, new CV axles, passenger rear control arm, front sway bar, clockspring, plugs, rotors/pads, coolant system flush, Bilstein B6's all around, Set of Continental DWS06's, news AOS with top and bottom hose replacement. Buluga Racing muffler and test pipes eliminating reasonator's/sec cats.
  14. Just throwing this out. Make sure your headlights are seated properly. My driver side had a cracked mount and just removed it from that and seated it directly into the socket.
  15. Hey. No offense meant to anyone. This was a vodka induced posting. Been driving in CO type winters for over 20 years. I just put a new set of Continental DWS06 tires on it.
  16. We can get some good snowfall here in the Denver area....LOL. Logic will always prevail. White987s - this is my daily driver and only vehicle...for now.
  17. I drive my Porsche 365 regardless of weather. Will enjoy this fine piece of German engineering for the max amount! Just my opinion.
  18. Just had them installed and could tell an immediate improvement in stability and ride comfort. $$ well spent IMO.
  19. When I have more $$ to spend I do plan on doing just that.
  20. While mechanical/safety issues always come first in repairs. What did you pay for a new paint job?
  21. Just had my brakes replaced a few weeks ago. Pagid front rotors (Textar pads) and ATE rear rotors (Textar pads) could not be more impressed. Low cost and works like a champ.
  22. Being a new Porsche owner.......guess I was not holding my mouth right when I seated them...
