Thank you I saw that the plugs with the gap of 0.8 where replaced with the plugs and gap of 0.7 because of a new knowledge, but I was not sure and I didn't want to hurt the engine. Does someone know anything further for this replacement of spark plugs in the Porsche-cat? Of course it's not helpful but it is interesting for me...
Hi, I ordered spark plugs for doing the maintenance for my 08 CTT. Now I'm not sure anymore because of the PDF-catalogue which I have. There are two different spark plugs in the Porsche catalogue : - 999 170 229 90 : Spark plug 14F-5MPUR03 (remark -08) with a gap of 0.8mm and - 999 170 228 90 : Spark plug FR6 NPP (remark 09-) with a gap of 0.7mm Which one do I need? They are both for the engine M48.51, I think I have to get the FR6 NPP ECS and Suncoast recommend the 999 170 228 90, but what's the difference? Thank you in advance for the replies greetz

Hi guys I hope I don't have a problem Today I mounted the IPD Plenum y-pipe. The problem is, that I found oil in the air intake system. The throttle had oil at the bottom before the flap. The oil is only on driver side... After mounting the IPD and cleaning the throttle and the other pipes, I went for a test drive and to take the accel. times. I must say in addition, that I filled a bit too much oil in the engine, a bit over the max-line. Now I've taken off the flex-pipe and saw again oil on drivers side like on the fotos.... I know that a bit oil in the air intake is no problem. What do you think it's too much oil?
I have soldered a small cable inside the obd2 plug from pin 3 to pin 7 so they are shorted (I have vag-com too). Believe me, it's much better than durametric, more logical to use.
You have to short pin 3 and pin 7 on your obd plug. If you are a bit advanced in soldering.... no problem. Then you can read all modules, delete the fault codes, change everything, write new codes and so on.... with RossTech and its obd module like a Touareg

Hi Porsche people I changed the spark plugs of my 955 CTT yesterday and I think the plug on cylinder 6 is not as the others. For me it does not show a realy scary image, and I'm sure it is not urgent but can you see something more?
Hi, I had the same problem. I bought he Dension GW52M02 and it did not what it had to do. It was changed on guarantee and the second one functioned. The second one made problems too, because it did not connect (looped) backside on the CD-changer. I took out the changer and connected the Dension on the cd-changers place. It went perfect and it does its work till today...
So guys, It is unavoidable that I must change bearings in the differential. I went to the gear-specialist and he explained the problem of this final drives. He saw the pictures I posted and he will do a "differenatial revision". It's an expensive job but it is worth I think. Greetz
Hi to everybody. After crunchy grind noise from the front axle I thought it's time to change both final drives oil of my CTT after 165'000kms (about 100'000mls). Please note that you have to use different oil for front axle final drive and for rear axle final drive, and it depends if the rear axle final drive is with or without differential lock. I used porsches orig. oils... 000 043 305 04 for front axle (replaced by Porsche for the old 000 043 205 30) and 000 043 300 37 for rear axle (with differential lock). If your Cayenne has no diff/lock you have to use the front axles oil. Now back to my recommendation... I'll not say anything, I only show you the pics of the old oil drained out of the front axle final drive..... I think it's not nice for the diffs to drive with this kind of oil
