  1. Hi, A while ago my original cayenne camera died. It was still popping out but there was nothing on the screen to see, I disassembled the camera unit and found out the camera was dead. The camera was full of rust and a little water so it was not sealed anymore and that's why it died together with some broken wires, All reverse camera's are made by Panasonic but they won't help you, and a replacement unit at the stealer costing €1200+ with exchange is crazy! So I started searching for different camera's from different brands and found one from Mercedes which was the exact same camera but with a wide lens, I ordered that one on eBay for around €200,- and installed it in the car, needed to replace the wires so used the cable that came with the new camera and it all works! So for people who only need a new camera you can just replace it without a problem, if your wiring is fine then you can just exchange the camera's and be done with it! I hope I can help some people with this information, I have attached some pictures so you can see the difference. The part number of the new camera is A2218200397 and it is used in the W221 S-Class and the W216 CL-class, they should be an easy find on eBay for not to much money. Here you can see the old camera which is all rusty and dead (don't pay attention to the orientation of the connector It was upside down.) This is the new camera, as you can see it has the same connector. And here you can see the back of both camera's, as you can see they are identical. (I already switched the rubber gasket to the new one)
  2. The headunit AViN is offering now is just a chinese version, nothing special! I just found the same unit but a little different unit. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Quad-Core-7-1024-600-2Din-Android-5-1-1-Car-DVD-Video-Player-Radio-BT/32734007450.html The difference with this unit is that it can be upgraded to better bluetooth from parrot with this part, and will be assembled by the seller. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Built-in-Parrot-FC6000T-Module-for-Android-OS-Car-DVD-Player-Radio-Video-Screen-GPS-Navigation/32742660985.html And you can also add DVB-T to this unit which makes it reallt worth it! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Built-in-DVB-T-MPEG4-Digital-TV-Module-for-my-shop-car-dvd-player-Radio-Stereo/32598903753.html And ofcourse you order the headunit with a DAB module directly or add it later! Best thing is that I found a really good MOST to RCA Adapter, but this one is 4 channel so front and back!!! Instead of the bad AViN one which only does stereo in the front! You can buy the MOST to RCA Adapter here http://umno-tech.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=154_172_175&products_id=629 And if you have the oem camera installed you can use a adapter like this one to connect it to the new headunit. http://www.navlinkz.de/en/Cables-and-adapters/Fakra/Adapter-Fakra-male-to-RCA-male.html All in all I think if you purchase all these parts you will have a pretty nice system for the Cayenne with the oem speakers and amplifier!!
  3. If you follow this guide you can add a push button for the Cayenne. :) The parts are exactly the same as the Touareg 7L! http://tm-techmark.com/touareg/keyless/keyless.htm Good luck!
  4. The Yellow Fakra is for GPS, de Black Fakra is the Antenna for radio! Also that Twin Fakra adapter is not correct for the Cayenne at all! You need a adapter like this http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/Fakra_aerial_adaptor_M_Fakra__M_DIN.asp
  5. As far as I know the Dummy key is nothing more then a piece of plastic! I just bought my Cayenne Turbo and the Dummy Key wasn't with the car, so I ordered a new key from the dealer without any vin! When I received the Dummy key and put it in the ignition it started right up with the key in my pocket, so the dummy key isn't coded it is just a plastic key to start the car when the normal key is present and detected.
