  1. Thanks Loren. Does anyone know where I can purchase the system?
  2. Hi I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their CDR23 to a PCM2 in the Cayenne? I have an '04 and think that I would like to do this. I know it's possible to get it done, but I am not really sure what all is entailed in doing this. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
  3. I am just getting abck around to this project believe it or not. I have a multifiunction sttering wheel, and I just cannot figure out how to get the airbag cover off. These instructions were a little confusing to me, so if anyone has any ides I would appreciate it. Thanks, Chris
  4. I just did this the other day. You will need to get an adapter for the antenna cable for the stereo. Basically the adapter will allow you to splice the 2 cables from the FM transmitter into the antenna line. In order to do this you will need to remove the stereo from the console. I know there are some instructions available on this forum that tell how to remove the stereo. The other thing you will need to do is figure out where you want to put the antenna for the XM, and where you want to route the cable to the FM transmitter. I placed my transmitter in the passenger's seat footwell, underneath the plastic upper panel of the footwell. I think I am going to hardwire my XM and get rid of the cigarette lighter power adapter. When I do that, I will post some pictures of the entire installation so you can see where everything goes. You need a torx driver and a trim removal tool to do the job properly, and it shouldn't take more than an hour to do.
  5. Has anyone removed the emblem from their steering wheel? I want to change the emblem from a gold one to a silver one. I have already done that for the hood emblem. I have also changed the "Cayenne" lettering on the rear deck from black to silver - it looks much better. I'll post pictures once I get this all finished. Thanks, Chris
  6. I want to remove the stereo in my Cayenne to install an FM modulator. I have the regular stereo - not the PCM stereo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
  7. I am trying to find the fuse that is for the footwell lighting. It doesn't appear to be marked in the owner's manual. Anyone know which one it is? Also, anyone know where I can get my hands on a Cayenne repair manual? Thanks, Chris
  8. I also just bought these sills. Would it be possible to get the TSB for them? I'll definitely post my experiences when I am finished. Thanks, Chris
  9. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had success installing an XM radio into their Cayenne. I have an XM Roady and would like to use it. I know that i can use the FM transmitter, but I would prefer not to. Is there any other way to do the installation? Thanks, Chris p.s. The same question would also apply to an ipod.
