  1. well the problem is fixed thanks for all your ideas and direction. as i started looking for some of these parts, one of them was "below" the drivers seat, Body Control Module Rear or something. Anyway I guess that moving seat back/forward "broke" a couple of cables! Connected them and did a reset in durametric and break light WORKS!! will be moving to the next problem but this one is fixed!
  2. i will call them, thanks for intro! I did a durametric test late yesterday and tells me the gateway is "bad".... 997 610 107 04, will ask them about that as well.
  3. Thanks for all your help, I hope we are getting close, do u have that Part # for the ABS/PSM unit?
  4. I have been searching the internet and I guess they meant the ECU / DME 997618607? Also what is 991 618 145?
  5. That is what he told me, sorry we downloaded the diagrams and we could not find the problem, we think is the computer of the car? I thought you guys knew!
  6. HELP Took it to the shop and they are telling me it is the “computer” ? What is that? Are they trying to scam me?
  7. Should the instrument computer say that the break lights are NOT working? Just wondering......
  8. Good idea, the back lights work is just the breaks lights that don’t. The cables from the switch are 3: green/black a red/black and a yellow/black. There is power when i touch a pair and the car is running I see 14V, a different pair I see 10.3V and then last pair like 3.7V Did more testing and tested the switch next with ohm meter, three of the prongs have continuity one doesn’t , however when we press the one that did not get it. So i think the switch is good also
  9. Ok, so i replaced the right one now and nothing....... SHXT i hate this. Could this be a relay problem? what are those cables under the passenger seat for?
  10. Purchased the new switch from pelican, put it on and nothing still KO you guys have like a cabling diagram to see if the cable from there to the back broke somewhere i see lots of cables under the passenger seat but not sure what they are for jiggle a few to see if it helped but nothing actually i just realized that the switch hits the clutch not the breaks what an idiot, however in all photos i search they call this the break light switch anyway i attached a photo but that hits the clutch so it still may be the switch but i cannot find it! Ill search more in google
  11. Hello, is been a while! I have been trying to see why my break lights are not working. I have checked ALL fuses and the lightbulbs but they DONT WORK! I am not sure if a relay is bad or what, but is kicking my XXX Any help will be appreciated!
  12. I will like someone close to New York to replace my fuse box i got one from ebay and there is room with the cables. The car had water damage and i continue to get issues with it. Anyone knows someone or can recommend someone.
  13. i agree - my battery discharges alot on its own - i am not sure if when i did the cable connection i have connected things wrong, hence the mechanic i am in NY and those Rennwerke are thieves so i will not use them, if you know people from the forum or a good mechanic let me know
  14. very weird...........drove it and when i got back started to work..............but know the reverse lights do not work...... do you guys know a good electrical mechanic? car was flooded so i always have all these electrical issues
  15. Something weird ( AGAIN OMG ) my car things the rear lid is OPEN ( but is NOT ) and because it thinks is OPENED, i cannot close my top! HELP
