  1. That is a Europipe cat. Mine broke in the exact same place on my 04 GT3. I just replaced it with a full Fabspeed Supercup system. Funny that yours broke in the same place. Sent from my Galaxy S9 using Tapatalk
  2. I just did this mod today. Trim removal is a little more involved on a coupe but the whole thing took less than 30 minutes. Huge improvement in the remote range. On my 2003 there was already 130mm of white/clear antenna wire exposed before the shielded black coating started from the factory. So all I had to do is move it outside of the wiring loom and velcro sheath. Easy peasy. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. So to answer my own question I found out that the lowered seat pads were only offered by Porsche in the Comfort seats, but not in the optional Sport seats. I am thinking of having an upholstery shop trim some foam out of the driver's seat cushion.
  4. I am only 5'8" but I find the driving position about 1/2" too high in my new-to-me 2003 996 Carrera coupe, even with the seat adjusted all the way down. The car has factory sport seats. I see in the parts catalog that part numbers are listed for the IXSU option where you can order the lowered seat foam (w/heater element) from Porsche. I am thinking I could have my local upholstery shop install these seat cushions. Does anyone know if the actual leather seat covers were different on the IXSU option or just the foam? I have factory sport seats. I am not sure if the IXSU lowered seat option was available with sport seats?? Maybe with comfort seats only?? Thanks!
