  1. I believe, here is the video about the spring mentioned: and here’s the spring removed:
  2. I replaced the rear door actuator, quite a task. I tested everything, the door was opening and closing beautifully, I decided to go for a test drive, to see if the auto-lock function works, I get back, I cannot open the door from the outside or from the inside, it was working great before the test drive, if I use remote control, I can hear the lock is working, but the door won’t open. Can you please explain what spring are you talking about? I seem to have the same problem:
  3. I decided to get it fixed for good with flanges and the proper gasket. Highly recommend.
  4. The exhaust clamps on my GTS are garbage. I keep re-torquing them over the years always finding carbon deposits around them. Last few days I noticed strong exhaust smell under hard acceleration and when going uphill. I totally thought the flexpipe, one of the welds or possibly gasket gave in, turned out to be just the clamps.
  5. Would anyone know if there is anything I could check that could have gone wrong during the repair to cause increased oil consumption?
  6. Well, still battling this. Car burns drives good but burns lots of oil about a quart of oil every 400 miles. I bet, this is the reason the cats are not happy. Switched to AMSOIL and adder two bottles of CeraTec.
  7. I will do that. I have one bottle of Techron and another bottle on Royal Purple MaxClean on hand. I will try that. Thank you for the input.
  8. If you look at the black line for Pre-cat sensors, it seems to be running way too high right? It suppose to flex between 0.1 to 1, it is pretty flat at 1. It seems to be all screwed up. The upstream sensors supposed to flex in values, downstream sensors should be nearly flat is my understanding, it like it is the opposite.
  9. This is what my catalyst monitors reported, bank two failed. Bank one barely passed.
  10. Bank 1 seems to look much better. This is at 2100 RPM. It looks like it is running rich right?
  11. Just realized the scanner should be in higher RPMs then just idle, I will re-test.
  12. I hope I am doing this right, I definitely have fluctuation of the rear ones. This is at idle. Bank 2 looks all screwed up range wise ? The rear ones (red) show way more action. Don’t they look interchanged?
  13. Thank you JFP, what do you think is causing both code to pop up like this? I doubt both cats are just about to go.
  14. I just spoke with the repair shop, They did not touch the O2 sensors, I might not be on the right track I guess.
