I'm looking to solve a noise problem affecting XM reception that relates to a back up camera I installed about 1.5 yrs ago. I've traced my problem to Fuse 19 on the driver's side fuse panel. When I pull the fuse, the problem goes away, but I don't know if that fuse only powers things around the dash, which might indicate the receiver module for the camera (WiFi link) is creating RF that swamps the XM signal. If that circuit also feeds things in the tail, then there may be some other interactions. My hope, besides possibly needing some bypass capacitors on that power path, would be to put a relay on the receiver module so it only lights up when going into reverse. (6-speed) If that is the fix, then I need to find out where the gear position signal comes from.
