  1. Any one figure this out yet??? My 2001 996TT does the same thing. Is there a way of completely turning off the alarm? In my manual it states to lock the car twice to disable the inside sensor, but it doesn't say to do it with the key fob or at the actual door lock on the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated to this ongoing problem! Thanks, David
  2. Please see the emergency locking procedure in your Owners Manual (under Locking). Found it. Key in the door, turning to the locked position 3 times... The factory head unit was replaced with an aftermarket radio/gps system. Do you think that could be causing the problem, or is it a door lock issue? The problem I am having is a single honk which indicates that something is not "closed" at random times. Then, after I receive the short honk the alarm system will activate at random times. FRUSTRATING!!!
  3. What is the emergency locking procedure? Same problem here on my 2001 TT. Thank you, David
