  1. Yes I understand that it's the rigid portion, I was just referring it as a line. I did the installation myself.
  2. Yes, I was just hoping that LN Engineering may have come up with a different line to clear larger bars. I hate to purchase a sway bar set and find out I have clearance issues. Thanks for the response. skipd1
  3. I have a 2001 996C2 that I have installed the LN Engineering IMS Solution. This upgrade provides a direct oil feed to the new IMS bearing similar to the Mezgar engines. I recently upgraded my suspension to H&R Street performance coil overs and I am extremely pleased with the upgrade. I also would like to upgrade my sway bars, however LN Engineering warns that a larger sway bar my interfere with the hard oil feed line that is in close proximity to the rear sway bar. My question is if anyone knows of a work around or if there has been a upgrade to this line that would allow me to install a larger diameter rear sway bar? thanks skipd1
  4. I have a 2001 996 C2 than needs the shocks replaced. I have done quite a lot of research trying to decide which is the best way to go. I would like to lower the car about an inch but I am not sure the best method to accomplish this. My budget is about $1800 so some of the better coil overs are out of my price range. I have looked at the HR street performance coil overs, but not sure as they are on the lower end of the price range if they are good enough. I like the Bilstein shocks and would like to incorporate them into my decision. Option 1 would be to just replace the shocks with Bilstein B4 or B6 and not lower the car. I don't understand why the B4 are more expensive than the B6. Option 2 would be to install the HR Street Performance Coil Overs and hope the car doesn't drop much more than an inch or so, and provides improved dampening from my stock setup. Option 3, which I am leaning to now, is to replace the stock springs and install the M030 springs with the B8 Bilstein's. This will hopefully lower the car a little and give me good dampening as well. Any thoughts or additional options? Thanks Skip
