  1. Had this issue when I bought mine (used) and it turned out that the guy that had previously worked on the car forgot to plug it back in... It's a slim chance you have the same problem, but it's worth checking... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for the input regarding the "fan control overcurrent" error. Guess I'll just ignore it :) The other one I think appeared after I changed brake pads front and rear and also the rear rotors. Parking brake is in good working condition as far as I can tell...I can hear it engage and disengage, and it holds the car well on a hill while in Neutral. Could it be that some reset / realignment procedure was not performed after changing the rear rotors? (parking brake unit had to be removed from the discs in order to change them) Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Hey guys After I got rid of a few errors related to the MAF, DPF, Gateway and some related others (the previous garage that worked on it did not delete them after a MAF replace, maybe?), I am now stuck with these two - "fan control overcurrent" and "check parking brake fault memory" (see bottom of picture). They will not go away... any ideas? Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Never mind, found it on Porsche's website. Sorry. Topic can be deleted. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Can someone please at least help me with some photos (in a PM maybe?) of pages 6 - 13 from the "Porsche Warranty & Maintainance" booklet... mine is in German :( If that is copyrighted material too...please ignore / delete my post. Thanks in advance! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Quick question guys [emoji16] I am about to go into the first full check-up of a recently bought 2012 Cayenne 3.0D, 85.000 km, full service history at a Porsche dealer (except last one in 2017, which was done at a private garage) I will replace oil and oil filter, air and pollen filter as this is "default" so to speak, since I don't know the previous owner - the car was bought from a used-car park. Also all 4 brake pads will be replaced because they are almost gone. What would you reccomend I should check / replace, as to be better safe then sorry? Are the following items best replaced or not: Brake fluid? Differential oil? Gearbox oil? Steering fluid? (don't actually know if steering is hydraulic or electronic on the Diesels) ...or something else, other that the above? Maybe checking the drain holes? Please share some of your feedback here...as I want my new baby to be in top shape and ready for whatever road-trips I'll throw at her this summer :) Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Sorry, didn't know the manual was copyrighted material... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Hey guys I recently got my 958 Diesel!!! ??? Can anyone provide a copy of the Owner's Manual and PCM manual...in PDF format, or any other downloadable format? The ones I got from the previous owner are in german...
  9. Hey guys Does anyone know how I can find out the PCM version on my 958? The car will be bought on Wednesday from a used-cars dealer and it's on the other side of the country :)) Below is a crop from a spec-sheet I received, where I can see some software versions, but google turns up nothing but spare parts if i search those numbers. Any help is greatly appreciated! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
