Well about that the car has a LS7 and was running with that motor when this started the DME runs the car side and the GM ECU runs the engine so I don't think its that and I don't see much over lay, but I did not do the swap I got the car with the LS7

I have a car that stalled and now wont start. After doing some diag I found that the fuel pump was not working and I could jump the fuel pump relay and it would start, but this is where I started to run into trouble I replaced the fuel pump relay and still no start I traced the problem to the DME not giving the relay the ground signal, I could apply a ground to the pin at the DME and it would run so I replaced the DME with a new one and ended up with the same issue, do 996 have a rollover/crash switch or what is the DME looking for before giving the fuel pump the ground signal?
