  1. Hey guys, i am searchin at many places but i cant find so maybe someone has done the same before.
Thanks to one post here i saw we can do retrofit cruise control, however at the tutorial there is 955 with different connectors for the dme, so installed the parts and put the wire ready now i dont know to which pin should i connect it. here is an image of my dme. All the pinout that i see, are talking only for the colorful pins and non of them have the full diagram, i search as touareg as well but still no luck. If you could helm i will apprichiate it a lot, anyways i apprichiate this group as it helped me many times 😛

Hi guys i know its an old post but i've just bought a Cayenne without cruise, i have followed this thread and it now has cruise thanks to you guys, easy diy fit, i did it without removing steering wheel, and without soldering, i also used Audi parts as they are much cheaper and easier available to me, Porsche charged me £50 to code jobs a goodun.

Also i found a genuine all electric tow bar and have now fitted that to so its just what i wanted after all!

    Thanks.

I heard again that there are cayenne that dont need extra wiring, but which one do you have? 957 gts?

  3. Hey guys.
So on the highway sometimes (i think when the car was driven a lot that day) i start hearing a whistling noise like the insect cicada (on the trees during summer)
This happens only if my foot on the pedal is totaly stable, if i accelerate a bit more it will directly go away, once i stop accelerating it starts again.

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

I experienced this right before my unit died for good. You can find good used units for not too much but you may wanna consider a rebuild or an  aftermarket unit as well.

Something deep inside me says i will face the same thing. I'm thinking to do a factory reset but im scared if it will ask me a pin number and i dont know where to find it, also i will blow it in case it has dust inside.

  5.  Hey guys. 957 base here.

me and my friend we facing this issue, both 957 v6, when we do reverse for first time the car makes a deep bass noise duration of a click, if i stop continue then reverse again and push the breake it wont happen, to make it happen again i must drive forward again then reverse and push the break again. Do you suspect any issue  in transfer case/differential?

    Thanks in advance.
