  1. Yeah the battery is holding its charge and for I know there hasn't been any work done on the transmission. Not lately I mean. I replaced the part with number 997.618.159.03 with exact the same one but I bought this on Ebay. It is a used part. So there is a possibility that this part has the same issue. Now I have contacted Porsche for a new part. This one has part number 997.618.159.07. I think i'm going order it new. I hope that is going to work.
  2. Thanks, Its a Cayman 987.1. I found the button and released the key with a paperclip but when I put the key back in the problem stays. I replaced the ignition switch and fully charged the battery.
  3. Yeah I recharged it. And I have checked it with a spare battery. No succes... I see that many people have this problem but I cant find the solution?
  4. I know its two years ago but I have the same issue with the key. Its stuck in the ignition and it says to put the lever in P. Its already in P. I know how to release the key. I also replaced the ignition switch but the problem stays. @Rodolfo Müllerhow did you solved this problem? I have a 987.1 Cayman 2008 2.7
