  1. 2006 C4S Cab, US version. Have a couple of PAS/Alarm related codes (8004: Terminal 50, 8005: Terminal S), alarm doesn't set, and doors will not lock with remote (double beep). The parts guy at my local Porsche dealership mentioned finding a salvage alarm control unit since the new control unit was being priced at $700. So I ordered one and am about to schedule service but noticed a line in the service/repair instructions "The KESSY/PAS control unit can only be taught once for one vehicle. Switching is not possible." Will the salvage alarm control unit be able to be programmed by
  2. Thanks CarreraLicious 👍-- I replaced my driver's side door control unit/motor with a salvage unit and that fixed the window problem. It requires taking door panel off and then it is just two plugs and three screws to replace. Easy to do other than the headache of dealing with the plastic clips in the door.
  3. I recently purchased a 2006 C4S Cabriolet m/t US Model and since my ownership I have been unable to lock the car via the remote and the driver side window does not automatically fully close. I replaced the latch assembly hoping it would knock out one or both problems but nothing has been resolved. Fuses look ok to me.
