  1. uhhh..ok push the light "bracket" out sideways?? I am still dumbfounded...got the gurad off, but cant see what exactly I am supposed to be pushing sideways on....the little metal flap haning down, or the green plastic, or the silver metal housing?? Is there a better picture to see what to push on?? I have a tendancy to break things...I am somewhat of a meathead.
  2. Whoopsy, sorry..thats what I get for being a newbie. :( Thanks a million though!!!
  3. Can anyone please help me get the Lighter holder out of my plastice dash trim that surrounds my nav?? I got all the bttons out, and got the wiper speed control out, but that stupid lighter holder will not come out? PLeas someone have a diagram or picture that tells this man with the disassembled dash how to get that thing out so I can finish my arctic silver upgrade and go to the grocery store... :(
  4. if you dont mind the drive to the peninsula, Carlsen Porsche has a great body shop. Worked magic on my door when a Tacoma backed into me.
  5. YEah I have them on my 02 TT...agreed that the grip isnt what the Contis had...but for the price I have accepted it. My car is a daily driver and I am not tearing up ALL that often. I havnt found the road noise to be an issue though, and I like the look of them alot. I would suggest them if you are looking for a "decent" tire, thats great for the $$$...if you are are tearing it up everyday, go for the Contis.
  6. Hey all, first off, I am so happy to have found this forum..SO MUCH INFO!!!! :) Anyhow I recently bought a '02 TT..50000 miles and I love it!!! However when driving it, the brakes do this weird thing. If I am getting off on an off ramp or sometimes just taking "the twisty" at a decent pace, my brake pedal will kick back HARD...hard enough to push my foot off. It just does it for a second and then its fine but its enough to surprise the HECK outta me. My brakes also SQUEAL like a banshee...not sure if thats related. ANyhow I brought my car to the dealer and they tell me the brake kick is normal, and that its part of the ABS system sensing I am cornering to fast. I just cant believe that though...sometimes it doesnt feel like I am anywhere near loosing traction and it just does it. My brakes have about 85% life to them too according to the dealer, so the squeal seems kinda odd as well. Please can someone put my mind at ease or tell me what to tell the dealer to look at?? Thanks agoan from your newest Turbo lover!! :drive:
