  1. Yes, went with Baileys divertor valves from Brandywine Porsche.
  2. I just last week sent my ECM to Vivid racing (Dan) and he flashed it and I had it back in 2 days. I am extremely happy with the results and have put 500 miles on the car and no problems at all. The flash was 700.00 and well worth the money. The Upsolute in NC and also Vivid in Az will just flash the ECM which requires no opening of the ECM which was great with me.
  3. Thanks so much for all your recommendations and thoughts. I have completed about all I am going to do. I started with the B&M Short shifter, AWE exhaust, K&N filter, Bailey Divertors Valves, and the Upsolute Flash. I drove the car for the first time this past saturday for 400-500 miles and everything works great. Special thanks to Dan @ Vivid and Jay at Brandywine Porsche for all their help as well. Thanks again board members!
  4. I just got back my ECM today from Upsolute/Vivid racing. Everything worked out great easy transaction and removal/installing was a breeze. However, everyone is telling me to change the plugs before I use the car and I need some opinions. The car is a 01 with 6300 miles on it so I am sure the factory plugs are not worn out by no means. Does anyone have an opion on this issue or would you just drive the car and if it does not have any problems just disregard the spark plug change? Thanks for any help or opinions!
  5. I have the old style plugs in a 01 turbo and they told me that Porsche inproved to a hotter plug in 02 up cars. So they said with the flash done it would run alot smoother with the new style plug. The car only has 6300 miles on it so I am sure nothing is worn or aleast I hope not. Thanks for the help!
  6. I was advised today to change to a hotter plug because I just got a new flash by Upsolute. So I need info on replacing them myself and I have no idea of the procedure nor the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  7. I just bought another 01 996 turbo and would like to do a few mods. I can only do one thing at a time but have a rough idea of what I want just no order in which to do them. I would like to have the ECU flash (recommendations of company), exhaust (recommendations of company), and possibly the air box by someone. I am new to upgrading parts on a Porsche so any help would be great and possibly some reviews. Thanks for and the help ahead of time!!!!
  8. I just recently purchased alum. faces for my 01 911 turbo from NR. After reading and researching I have decided it is more than I want to take on because of the needles having to be removed. So, I have found a new cluster on Ebay that I think will work. The part # is 996 641 981 7370 C USA. My question is will this work on a 01 911 Turbo and if so can a local dealer set the miles at my current mileage? Also, I am in Miss. does anyone know of a good shop nearby that could do just some turn up and other maintenance?
