  1. Thanks for the reply's, It was the first and last time it went through a car wash in 4 years of ownership. It was about two weeks ago and I reset it drove the car about 5 to 10 miles and it came back on. I am afraid to drive it as I do not want to cause any bigger issues.
  2. I own a partially lowered 1999 996 that I ran through the car wash for the first time. I was feeling like it was a mistake before I did it. the car felt like it was possibly rubbing on the suspension on the left side. I went through the wash with out much event then as I was exiting it and I noticed a check engine light was on. I ran the code and it is showing as 1531. The car is running well still but it does seem a little rough on idle. I would appreciate any input. It is a weekend car so I don't have to drive it but really want to. Thank you, Dave
