  1. Hello, Thanks, DBJoe for a fast reply. I tried what you suggested with windows but the situation is the same. when turning key to unlock and holding only passenger side window goes down and vice versa. As for key fob, found a suggestion to resolder all contacts on the keyfob. Still pending to do that.
  2. I recently purchased 996, 3.4, C2. I have an issue with key fob (one button remote control) cannot lock/unlock a car. Keyfob led is working but does not communicate with a car. Tried to change a battery in key remote, did not help. Tried to resync key by pressing the button during mechanical unlock. Also tried resyncing key pressing lock/unlock button having the key in ignition both with ignition on and off. One more thing that is strange. When unlocking car mechanically with the key, if holding in unlock position only passenger window is going down. Same is if both windows are down and want to get them up while holding the key in lock position only passenger side window is going up. Just for reference, both windows are operating normally (up, down) on windows buttons. A car had installed Viper alarm. Thinking alarm was causing mentioned issues I deleted the alarm. Deleting alarm did not help. DOublechecked all wires that were used in alarm installation and could not find any issues. Where to start, what to check?
