  1. 2002 Boxster S Radio CR-220 Pushed TP button for 10 seconds. Becker 1 came onto screen. Scrolled right: 47/98 Type 4362
  2. 12.6v is low. Should be 13+ to be optimal. The 14v at idle is the alternater inputting charge to battery.
  3. Actually all I needed to do was hold the top down button until the dash top indicator went off. Windows now go up and down fully. (No clip required)
  4. Actually all I needed to do was hold the top down button until the dash top indicator went off. Windows now go up and down fully. (No clip required)
  5. Thanks. I found the hole next to positive terminal. It takes a male and my hose has a female. I will sort it out
  6. When changing the cabin air filter I came across this disconnected clear hose with a 6" black hose with 90 deg elbow attached. It comes from passenger inner fender and can stretch to about 3/4 accross just past battery. I looked around and could not determine a proper location. at first I thought it was for the wiper windshield nozzle. Where is it to be connected and what is it for? On a motorcycle it would likely be the vent for the battery
  7. Searched but... 1997 boxster base 5 speed 76k miles Wipers won't turn off. Regardless of lever position, wipers run at low speed. To get home i turned car off and back on. Wipers stayed in up position. Tested today. Same problem.
  8. The hard top explains the red clip, which is a great idea to use also for top down window operation, thanks. Still interested in why Porsche designed windows to go down and not back up with top down. No big deal just curious like Richard.
  9. I pondered the same. Thought maybe the windows didn't have enough support
  10. I pushed and held switch where it latches. Then up on windows. They went up but upon releasing latch micro switch, windows dropped back down 4". So the orange clip should do the trick. I will order the one in picture from Suncoast at $7.95. Thanks guys.
  11. Top fully retracted. Windows down 4". Light illuminated. Window control allows down only. My 97 base Boxster does same.
  12. Craig 2000 Boxster S 6sp Search unsuccessful. Therefore I ask. Upon lowering top, windows drop 4 inches. Then will not go back up. Windows will go down but will not return up at all. Put top up and they work fine. I want windows to go all the way up when top down on cool days and nights
