  1. This has been on since I got the car several years ago. Car is otherwise near perfect. Has never been in an accident. Airbags have never gone off. No rewirings, alarms, stereos, etc. I have read, googled, etc. for several hours, finding TONS of information, but I'm now hoping for some help figuring out what is accurate and relevant to my situation. I have the famous TSB that might be related to my problem, at https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10177966-0001.pdf (also attached) My 2004 S was built in July 2003. VIN ending in 69358. I do NOT have Durametric. I do have a Foxwell NT520 Pro with the Porsche software. The only airbag code I have is: "3 - Airbag: 3 Control module faulty". It will not clear. The airbag light never goes out. But then, surprisingly to me, even with a faulty control module, I can read airbag live data. All airbag resistances are "correct". The Belt buckles correctly indicate YES or NO. The only anomalies are: Resistance - battery open circuit === too big Passenger airbag OFF light, deactivation === on (not sure whether this is OK or not; no lights on other than the airbag light) Key-operated switch/AWS circuit 2 === too big Key switch circuit 1 === too big Seat occupancy, passenger === too big (whether or not I was sitting in the passenger seat) I've read many reports about removing "the seat" and a sentence or two telling me to cut and weld (!) some wires back together (I know that is not accurate). Knowing what I've figured out so far, I am inclined to rock the driver's seat forward as when replacing the battery, and looking around for screwed up (pinched, corroded, separated) wiring, etc. Then maybe moving to the passenger seat with similar exploration and hopeful repair efforts. But I'm ready to do anything if I can believe it is accurate. But based on the information here, from the Foxwell, does anyone have any better advice on what exact path to follow here? Is it futile to think about doing this without Durametric (which I have read many cases of Durametric not finding or solving an airbag problem while something else does)? Thanks for any help.
