  1. I had the same problem with a 2001 996 C4. The PSM and ABS fault lights also came on. It turned out to be the Brake light switch which is in the area of the Brake Pedal and is easily replaced.
  2. Anybody got any ideas what could be draining the battery when the car is left??? Its a new battery, the alternator seems to be charging fine. If the car is left for more than a few hours the battery is dead. There must be a big load from something but I can't find out what. I have checked the drains mentioned on other posts (boot space light, alarm horn etc) but it doesn't seem to be them. Can anybody think of anything else that it could be or any ideas how I can track down the electrical fault? The Car is a UK RHD 996 C4 2001 Manual Many thanks again for your help.
  3. I used www.radio-code.co.uk. Just give them your serial number and type of radio and they give you the code instantly. It costs 9.99 GBP. There is probably cheaper ways but I was in a hurry.
  4. Don't worry I have managed to find one online. Thanks.
  5. I have lost the unlock code for the Becker CDR 22 in my 996. Does anybody have the code calculator available? Type 4467 Seri Y5026627 Many thanks for your help. 2001 996 C4
  6. On first brake application after each engine start both the ABS and the PSM Off fault lights on the dash come on. Just wondering if anybody knows what could be the cause of this before I take the car to a dealers? Many thanks in advance for your help. It's a 2001 996 C4 coupe 6 spd.
